Travertine is a sedimentary rock that forms from calcium carbonate deposits from the water of mineral springs.

Our travertine products come in a number of different finishes to suit your taste and environment. For those that prefer a smooth feel under foot and hand the travertine is honed and finished.

This is a process of filling the holes with cement before polishing the surface, if a traditional finish is your preference, the travertine can be tumbled leaving the natural undulation of the stone.

Limestone is a sedimentary rock that forms from the mineral calcite which came from the beds of evaporated seas, lakes and sea animal shells.

The stone makes a beautiful hard wearing tile which is both at home in modern & traditional surroundings, with proper care it should last a life time.

All our Interior Sandstone is calibrated to the same thickness.

This makes it easier to lay, is compatible with underfloor heating and doesn't compromise ceiling height. It has the same natural surface as the hand cut and is available in a 120 piece roman pattern set (14.40sqmtr). Or individual sizes of 400x600 & 600x600.

Sandstone is a classic sedimentary rock that forms from the cementing together of sand sized grains forming a solid rock, it is a very hard stable product with many uses from Patio to Kitchen.

Ryedale Stone's natural sandstone paving is accurately hand dressed with a natural riven surface, creating an extremely hard wearing and durable paving stone. Natural sandstone paving is perfect for both traditional and contemporary designs, it can be laid internally and externally enabling a natural transition from home to garden.

All our hand cut sandstone paving is supplied in a 120 piece patio kit ( 14.10 sqmtr ) , made up of four sizes for random laying, and varies in thickness from 20-40mm. Suited to the British climate, natural sandstone paving is frost resistant and will weather to give a natural appearance, complimenting both traditional and modern designs.
